Team Mascot Wanted & More
12th October 2010 By Munster Rugby Supporters Club
Munster Team Mascot Munster Rugby will meet Benetton Treviso in their sixth Magners League game of the 2010/2011 season in Thomond Park Stadium on Saturday, October 22nd. Anyone who renews or joins as a junior member of the Supporters Club before next Monday 18th October may be selected at random to become team mascot on the day. As mascot to the Munster Rugby team the lucky winner will enjoy the following experiences; – Walk around the team dressing room while the team are warming up on the pitch, bump into their Munster heroes and hear the pre match pep talk. – The winner will receive a family match ticket so that their family can come and witness this unique moment. – The mascot will lead the Munster team on to the pitch with the team captain on the day. – He/she will then walk away with a jersey and a picture that is sure to be pride of place in the family home. Junior Club member, Oscar Leamy O’Donovan, who won the opportunity to be team mascot for one of the pre season friendly games in Musgrave Park, summed up his experience by simply saying that "it was the best day of my life". Jordan Langley(pictured to the right), another MRSC junior member who became match day mascot described his experience as a truly"amazing day".
